Speeding Motorcyclist in Custody After Leading CHP on Pursuit

Montclair, San Bernardino County, CA: A motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. in the city of Montclair after a pursuit Thursday night, Feb. 16.

California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park Station deputies attempted to pull over a high-speed motorcycle traveling at approximately 100 mph westbound on the 10 Freeway at Vincent Avenue in the city of West Covina.

The suspect took off at high speeds, leading CHP on a pursuit into East Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department airship was overhead and assisting CHP with the pursuit.

The suspect exited the westbound 10 Freeway, got back onto the eastbound 10 Freeway and stopped in a parking lot in the city of Montclair near Central Avenue and San Bernardino Street near a gas station.

The suspect was immediately taken into custody by CHP.
