MOJAVE, Calif., May 15 (KNN) — A spreading brush fire in Mojave Tuesday evening, consumed a recreational vehicle in its path.
Firefighters from Kern County and the California City Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire shortly before 5 p.m. in the 26400 block of Barrel Cactus Street.
Upon arrival, crews discovered the fire had spread to a nearby structure, identified as a recreational vehicle (RV), which was fully engulfed in flames and subsequently burned to the ground.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Fire officials are working to determine the origin and cause of the blaze.
