BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGLES, Apr. 24 (KNN) — Four minors were found to be involved in stolen vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash in Boyle Heights.
Preliminary information regarding the incident indicates that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was pursuing a stolen vehicle on the 5 Freeway Tuesday night.
The pursued vehicle exited the 5 Freeway at Calzona Street and then collided with a concrete barrier on around 10 p.m.
Four minors were found inside the crashed vehicle. Three of the occupants required extrication by responding Los Angeles Fire Department personnel, according to the LAFD.
Two of the minors – a 13-year-old and 14-year-old – were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, according to initial information from the scene. The other two were also reportedly transported in unknown conditions per multiple media sources.
