VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (KNN) — Around 12:41 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department was dispatched to the area of Woodley Avenue and Vanowen Street in Van Nuys for reports of at least 80 people shutting down the intersection doing burnouts and donuts.
There were multiple close calls of spectators nearly being struck by vehicles. The LAPD received numerous other reports as officers continued to respond to the calls, leaving participants scrambling to different locations.
As of now, no injuries have been reported.
