Struck Utility Pole Lands on Car in Studio City Crash

STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (KNN) — A utility pole came crashing down onto a car after the vehicle struck the pole in Studio City late Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision in the 4200 block of Whitsett Avenue shortly before 11:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a vehicle that had collided with a utility pole, causing the pole to snap in half and land on top of the car.

Firefighters found exposed wires and secured the scene. The driver did not appear to have suffered any injuries. However, it is unknown if she was later transported to a hospital or sought medical assessment privately.

At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown.
