Stuck Horse Rescued at State Park in Calabasas

CALABASAS, Calif., June 17 (KNN) — A horse stuck in Malibu Creek State Park was rescued late Sunday evening.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to Malibu Creek State Park in Calabasas for a horse rescue around 9 p.m. Units arrived and found a distraught horse that was stuck.

The horse eventually stood up after firefighters cleared a path for the rider to safely walk the horse out onto a trail.

The horse and rider were not injured. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue personnel also assisted in the rescue.
