Student Stabbed at Junior High in Oxnard

Oxnard, Ventura County, CA: A stabbing occurred during dismissal just after 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at the E.O. Green Junior High School on the 3700 block of South C Street, police reported.

The incident occurred between a 13-year-old student and 14-year-old student during a fight, Oxnard Police Department reported.

The 13-year-old was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 14-year-old was taken into custody by the Oxnard PD, according to the department.

Detectives with Oxnard PD are currently investigating the incident.
