Suspect in Custody After Reported Shooting at Downtown Los Angeles Recording Studio

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, June 9 (KNN) — One suspect was taken into custody along with a discovered firearm at the location of a reported shooting in Downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central and Newton Divisions responded to the 900 block of San Pedro Street for a call of a shooting at 2:49 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers ordered everyone out of an apparent recording studio located at the address. Over a dozen subjects were detained in the process.

According to a spokesperson for the LAPD, officers found no evidence of a shooting, however, one suspect was taken into custody along with a firearm.

The LAPD said there were no victims.
