Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Into Pole Ending Pursuit in Mission Hills

MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 14 (KNN) — A police pursuit of a suspected DUI diver ended when the suspect crashed into a pole at an intersection in Mission Hills early Monday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department initiated a pursuit of a suspected DUI driver around 12:30 a.m. The chase lasted less than two minutes and covered about two city blocks.

The driver struck a light pole in the center divider of a street and was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries after officers took him into custody.

The pursuit ended at Devonshire and Sepulveda Boulevard in Mission Hills.
