WEST COVINA, Calif., June 5 (KNN) — A vehicle came off the 10 Freeway, broke through a fence barrier and damaged multiple vehicles parked in a lot within an apartment complex early Wednesday morning in the city of West Covina.
California Highway Patrol officers and West Covina Fire Department personnel responded to a vehicle that flew off the freeway and into an apartment complex just before 4:30 a.m., westbound 10 Freeway at West Pacific Avenue exit.
The passenger of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with a broken leg. The female driver was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and arrested at the scene.
A total of three vehicles were damaged inside the parking lot of the apartment complex.
