SANTA CLARITA, CA, Sept. 10 (KNN) — A hit-and-run driver was located and also arrested for suspected DUI after a violent and fiery crash destroyed three vehicles and left at least two people hospitalized.

The crash occurred at Railroad Avenue and Eighth Street in the city of Santa Clarita on a blind curve at approximately 8:50 p.m. Saturday.
Arriving first responders found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. At least two people were rushed to trauma centers.
A driver involved in the collision was located two blocks away from the scene and was identified as a 19-year-old male.
Authorities administered a breathalyzer to determine if the driver was possibly operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
The teen driver was subsequently arrested for suspected felony DUI, hit-and-run.
There are no further details at this time.
