Suspects Attempt to Burglarize Pharmacy in Pacoima

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (KNN) — Three burglary suspects attempted to break into a pharmacy overnight prompting a response from the Los Angeles Police Department.

The LAPD received a call around 2:30 a.m. of an attempted pharmacy burglary in the 13000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima.

By the time LAPD patrol units arrived, the suspects had already fled the location.

Surveillance video obtained from the scene showed three males trying to make entry into the pharmacy using a sledge hammer to pry open the door.

The LAPD received other calls of pharmacy burglaries in the area, however, it is currently unknown if they are related.

The LAPD is investigating.
