PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30 (KNN) — A suspicious package at a Panorama City Walmart store prompted a response from the Los Angeles Police Department late Monday night.
The LAPD responded to the 8300 block of Van Nuys Boulevard for a reported suspicious package just after 11p.m.
When patrol units arrived, they evacuated all workers and guests from the Walmart store at the location. LAPD patrol units blocked off the entire parking lot and requested members from the SWAT team to respond with a K-9 unit. The LAPD Bomb Squad also responded to the scene, according to the LAPD.
