SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (KNN) — A 17-year-old was killed when two vehicles collided early Sunday morning in the Jefferson Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division units responded to a two-vehicle collision shortly before 1a.m. at the intersection of West Adams Boulevard and Arlington Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a silver sedan and black sedan with major damage just south of the intersection.
The driver in the silver sedan, a 17-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His female passenger was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
A male and female occupants of the black sedan fled the scene on foot after the crash.
