BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (KNN) — A teenager was found fatally shot in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles Sunday evening.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Central Bureau Homicide is investigating the shooting death of a 14-year-old male that occurred at the intersection of 1st and Pecan streets, according to the LAPD.
Officers initially responded to reports of shots fired around 5:30 p.m. at the location and discovered the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
Two male suspects fled the scene in a vehicle in an unknown direction. The LAPD said the incident is gang related
LAPD SWAT was on scene conducting a tactical operation.
