Toddler Found Not Breathing After Falling From Roof of Lancaster Home

LANCASTER, Calif., Mar. 7 (KNN) — A toddler was found not breathing and is currently in critical condition after a fall from the roof of a Lancaster home Wednesday evening.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station received a call around 5:34 p.m. regarding a 2-year-old not breathing on the 5000 block of Spur Avenue.

Upon arrival, fire department paramedics located the toddler who was not breathing at the time of rescue. The LACoFD quickly transported the toddler by ambulance to a local area hospital while performing lifesaving techniques. All air support was down due to weather.

Several other children were temporarily removed from the home while sheriff officials searched inside for clues.

A witness stated the toddler fell from the roof of the home after crawling out a window.

Sgt. Mike Politano with the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station said that the male toddler is currently listed in critical condition from a fall. There are no further details at this time as the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
