East Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: An abandoned house burned at approximately 3:39 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, on the 300 block of North Virgil Avenue in East Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Fie Department personnel arrived at the scene to find two homeless individuals who were able to escape the burning building.

Firefighters achieved knockdown in approximately fifteen minutes. No injuries were reported at time of incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
