Trash Discovered Burning Against Support Column of 110 Freeway in Exposition Park

EXPOSISTION PARK, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (KNN) — Exposition Park Public Safety stumbled upon a trash fire overnight against a support column for the 110 Freeway at the 37th Street/USC Metro Station.

Exposition Park PSD requested the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond to extinguish the flames and the California Highway Patrol for possible damage to the freeway structure.

The fire was extinguished in just a few minutes at approximately 1:30 a.m.

The CHP’s Central Los Angeles Office is handling the investigation into the cause of the fire.
