Uber Driver Allegedly Sexually Assaults Passenger in Lancaster; Family Members Detain Suspect

LANCASTER, Calif., Nov. 30 (KNN) — An Uber driver has been accused of sexually assaulting a passenger in Lancaster Friday evening.

Lancaster deputies responded to a call for service around 5:45 p.m. on the 43700 block of Fallon Drive, where a passenger reported being sexually assaulted by their Uber driver.

Family members of the victim managed to detain the driver until deputies arrived, taking the suspect into custody.

No further details were available as the investigation is underway.
