Vacant House Burns in Sylmar

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (KNN) — Firefighters doused flames consuming a vacant house in Sylmar late Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at approximately 11:14 p.m. on the 13000 block of North Gladstone Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing in a vacant one-story house with fire extending into the attic, according to the fire department.

The flames were extinguished in just under 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
