LANCASTER, Calif., Sept. 16 (KNN) — A possible victim of kidnapping was discovered when two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision in Lancaster late Sunday afternoon.
A two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue K, prompting a response from sheriff’s deputies and Los Angeles County firefighters at 5:05 p.m. Upon arrival, Engine 129 reported two moderate injuries and two people trapped in the wreckage.
Additional resources were requested by first responders to assist in the rescue efforts. Firefighters successfully extricated both individuals and transported them to Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) for treatment.
Deputies discovered that one of the parties involved in the collision was a victim of kidnapping.
Authorities escorted the ambulance to the hospital as the investigation continues.
