San Bernardino, CA: A vehicle crashed into a Circle K storefront Monday evening taking out a wall, shattering glass and toppling displays of merchandise.
At 7:29 p.m., Nov. 7, the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a report of a traffic collision requiring extrication at the Circle K located on 9th Street and Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino.
Upon arrival, an elderly couple and occupants of the store had already self-extricated.
The elderly male (unknown exact age) reportedly backed into the storefront at a high rate of speed.
SBCoFD reported one patient with delayed injuries – it is unknown if the individual was transported and if they were a patron of the store.
San Bernardino Police Department continues to investigate but do not believe alcohol was a factor in this crash.
The Circle K on 9th and Waterman will remain closed for repairs.
