MISSION HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 (KNN) — A crashed, burning vehicle was found abandoned in Mission Hills early Wednesday morning.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire just after 2 a.m. in the 15000 block of South Brand Boulevard.
When units arrived, they found a damaged car from a collision fully engulfed in flames with no signs of any driver or passenger.
The car was believed to be speeding on Arleta Avenue, and did not stop at the T-intersection of Brand Boulevard. It hit a center divider with bushes, bounced over the curb and came to rest about 75 feet into the park.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the collision.
