Vehicle Plows Into Building in Encino; LAFD Extricates Trapped Driver

ENCINO, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (KNN) — One person was found trapped inside a wrecked vehicle after a solo-vehicle crash in Encino early Sunday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were dispatched at 2:17 a.m. to the area of Ventura and Balboa Boulevard for reports of a vehicle into a structure with a person trapped.

LAFD arrived and began to extricate the patient from the severely damaged vehicle. He was ultimately transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The vehicle was extracted from the Equinox building by the LAFD.

The Los Angeles Police Department was on scene conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
