Vehicle Struck by Gunfire in Winnetka Residential Neighborhood

WINNETKA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (KNN) — A vehicle was shot at in a residential neighborhood within Winnetka early Sunday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a shooting call in the area of Valerio Street and Cozycroft Avenue shortly after 1:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle with the windows shot out and glass on the ground. One victim was also transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

An officer at the scene could not exactly confirm to KNN what had occurred but stated that they were investigating a situation involving “miscellaneous things.”

There were also reports at approximately 12:30 a.m. as well, regarding shots heard in the area. No other information is known at this time.
