Victim Found Fatally Stabbed Outside Mall

INDUSTRY, CA, Sept. 1 (KNN) — An individual was found stabbed outside a mall late Thursday night and was promptly transported to a local hospital as paramedics attempted to save the patient’s life.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Industry Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a stabbing shortly after 11:30 p.m. outside the Puente Hills Mall in the 1600 block of South Azusa Avenue in Industry.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to injury sometime after 2 a.m., according to sources.

Industry sheriff’s deputies were working two crime scenes. The second location of the crime scene was on Azusa Avenue just north of Colima Road on the sidewalk.

It is not known at this time if any suspects are in custody or outstanding.
