Victim in Grave Condition After Violent Assault in North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, June 14 (KNN) — An unhoused individual was left in grave condition after a violent assault Wednesday night.

The assault was reported around 11:15 p.m. at Erwin Street and Lankershim Boulevard in the North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles firefighters responded to reports of a person not breathing and not conscious from an assault at the location. The victim’s condition was confirmed by arriving officers at the scene.

Los Angeles firefighter/paramedics transported the victim in grave condition.

LAPD officers contained an apartment complex right next door to the scene of the assault and took one person into custody.

The suspect allegedly used a metal pole in the assault.

No further information is available at this time. An update on the victim will follow upon confirmation from the LAPD.
