Victim Shot During Attempted Robbery in Venice Neighborhood of L.A.

Venice, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department responded to an ambulance shooting call where a male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound at 24th Street and Speedway in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.

According to initial information regarding the incident, the victim wrestled with the suspect who had a gun pointed at the victim’s head in an attempted robbery and during the fight the gun went off.

The suspect was described as a male Black with dreads and is still outstanding at this time.

The victim was transported by ambulance to local hospital for the gunshot wound.
