Water Main Break Floods Residential Street in Simi Valley

Simi Valley, Ventura County, CA: Ventura County Fire crews responded to reports of a water main break in the area of Flowerdale Street and Gateway Drive around 3:36 a.m. Thursday, May 25.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a large amount of water seeping from the street in front of residences.

Crews managed to partially shut off the flow of water prior to the local water district’s arrival.

The water was completely shut off once the water district arrived on scene.

There were no reports of flooding to residences or damage to property.
