West Covina PD and CHP Pursuit of Stolen Car Ends in Ontario, Female in Custody

ONTARIO, CA, June 13 (KNN) — A female driver involved in a vehicle pursuit with the West Covina Police Department and California Highway Patrol was taken into custody early Tuesday morning around 3 a.m.

West Covina police units were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle that led them onto the 10 Freeway eastbound into the Fontana area where CHP Rancho Cucamonga officers took over the pursuit.

The suspect exited the freeway in the city of Fontana and led CHP on a pursuit on surface streets.

CHP “PIT” manuevered the vehicle near the Ontario Airport on East Airport Drive and Haven Avenue in the city of Ontario.

Officers were able to take a female into custody.
