Hollywood Hills, June 11 (KNN) – A woman is hospitalized after falling into a dry riverbed Sunday afternoon in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 3800 block of North Barham Boulevard just after 1 p.m. for a technical rescue incident.
Firefighters located a 26-year-old female patient who fell approximately 25 feet into a dry riverbed and sustained a possible leg fracture, according to the LAFD.
Firefighters lowered a litter basket via a rope system from the end of an aerial ladder to bring the patient back to street level for transport to the hospital, reported the LAFD.
The patient was reported to be in fair condition.
