Woman Found Fatally Stabbed in Downtown Los Angeles Alley

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Jan. 26 (KNN) — An apparent altercation left a woman fatally stabbed in a downtown Los Angeles alley overnight, according to initial information from police officers at the scene.

The Los Angeles Police Department received a call regarding a stabbing in the 1100 block of Los Angeles Street shortly around 1 a.m. Sunday with a victim down in an alley behind a building.

When LAPD’s Central Division units responded to the location, they found a 20-year-old Hispanic female not conscious and not breathing, suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to an LAPD spokesperson.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.

There was a party at the location at the time of the stabbing, the spokesperson told KNN. There is no suspect information.
