Woman Injured in Victorville Residential Fire Airlifted to Hospital

VICTORVILLE, Calif., Jan. 6 (KNN) — A female patient was airlifted to a hospital after being injured in a residential fire reported just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 15300 block of Sixth Street in the city of Victorville.

Fire personnel with the Victorville Fire Department responded and located a small residential fire along with a female victim suffering from injuries related to the fire.

Only one victim was located and listed as “immediate.” An air ambulance was requested to airlift the patient from Victor Valley Global Medical Center to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The female’s condition is unknown.

Firefighters extinguished the fire within 30 minutes, and no other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by San Bernardino County Fire investigators.
