Woman Shot in Leg During Dispute in North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (KNN) — A woman was shot in the leg during a dispute late Thursday night in North Hollywood.

Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Division officers responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 5800 block of Fulcher Avenue, where they found a woman outside with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the location and transported the victim in stable condition to a local hospital.

Officer Miller, a spokesperson for the LAPD, said the shooting occurred during a dispute between the woman and the 34-year-old suspect who fired a round at the woman.

Miller said the woman was homeless, and her age was unknown.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, per the LAPD.
