Todd Eves, founder of Out Of This World BBQ & Catering Company, was at Wrightwood Elementary School Sunday evening feeding fire personnel stationed at the Bridge Fire. The business owner said he has fed over 500 people and plans to continue.

Jayme Yamaguchi with World Central Kitchen, an international disaster relief organization, came to San Bernardino County to help with the local Bridge Fire and the other current fires.

The organization partners with local restaurants and catering companies; it partnered with Eves’ company for the Wrightwood area.

Eves said teaming up with the World Central Kitchen was “a real honor.”

Supportive signs for the firefighters and police were visible in the front yards of many homes in the area.
