1 Ejected, 2 Trapped in Single-Vehicle Major Crash

Covina, Los Angeles County, CA: A serious single-vehicle crash left two people trapped in the wreck and one person ejected early Thursday morning.

The Covina Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision at East Covina Hills Road and South Chaparral Road in the city of Covina just before 3:00 a.m., May 18.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located one person that was ejected from a vehicle and two other patients trapped and in critical condition.

Firefighters extricated the two that were trapped and transported them both to Pomona Valley Hospital. The third patient was transported in unknown condition to the same hospital.

It is unknown if the vehicle crashed and landed in a creek or on a dirt road at the location. Covina PD did not release any further details regarding the crash.
