The multi-vehicle collision included one person trapped inside an overturned vehicle that landed in the front yard of a home, one that toppled a utility pole, and another that crashed into a commercial building impacting a business and causing water damage.

Firefighters freed the person trapped inside the overturned vehicle and transported the patient to a regional trauma center by LAFD paramedics in critical condition, according to LAFD.

Three other patients at the scene declined care, said the fire department. It was not immediately clear which vehicles they were in when the crash occurred.

Water was observed flooding the floor of a business at the scene while firefighters assisted in securing the flow. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power responded to the location.

The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division is investigating and told Key News Network that street racing or driving under the influence were not factors in the collision.

No additional information was available.
