Palmdale, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision Friday morning in the city of Palmdale.

The traffic collision was reported just before 8 a.m., Apr.1, 2022. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials indicated there was at least one deceased person on the scene as a result of this accident.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the location and worked on extricating the deceased from the vehicle.

According to Sheriff’s officials, the black Ford Focus was traveling westbound on Avenue R when the vehicle was struck by a Toyota Camry with two occupants traveling northbound on 25th Street East. The person in the Ford Focus was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The traffic collision is under investigation.
