1 Killed in Van Nuys 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (KNN) —One person was killed, two others injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision late Sunday night in Van Nuys.

Los Angeles Police Department officers and the fire department quickly responded to a traffic collision shorty before 11 p.m. on the 15100 block of West Victory Boulevard.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a two-vehicle collision that resulted in injuries of three individuals.

One person was beyond medical assistance and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The condition of the two other patients remains unknown, and they were promptly transported to local hospitals for further treatment.

LAPD is conducting an investigation into the cause of the collision.
