LONG BEACH, CA, Aug. 7 (KNN) — A man was killed and two other people were hurt in a shooting crash Sunday evening in Long Beach.

The Long Beach Police Department received reports of a vehicle collision around 7:30 p.m. near the 2800 block of Chestnut Avenue.
A solo sedan collided into a parked car. Witnesses reported one man was covered in blood and unresponsive. Police arrived to find that the male had been shot.
Paramedics arrived and transported the male to a nearby hospital in grave condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
Two other people with gunshot wounds related to this incident were located a quarter mile away at College Medical Center, both conscious and breathing.
It is unclear if they were dropped off at the medical center or how they got there. The two were also transported to area hospitals, both in unknown conditions.
The main scene where the collision occurred on Chestnut Avenue remained blocked off between West 29th Street and West 28th Street as homicide investigators surveyed the scene.
