1 Person Found in Cardiac Arrest After Multi-Vehicle Traffic Collision

SUNLAND-TUJUNGA, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19 (KNN) — A patient was found in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived at the scene of a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles Monday night.

Los Angeles police officers and firefighters responded to a traffic collision around 10:21 p.m., with a person reported trapped inside a vehicle on the 10200 block of Foothill Boulevard in the Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood of Los Angeles.

When LAFD personnel arrived at the scene, they found one person in cardiac arrest due to the traffic collision. The patient was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

One other person was transported to the hospital. Their condition is also unknown at this time.

The LAPD had traffic in the area closed in all directions and are investigating the collision.
