1 Treated for Injury at Scene of Arleta House Fire

Arleta, Los Angeles, CA: A senior citizen was treated for an injury at the location of a structure fire in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Arleta in the city of Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, Feb. 22, 2022.

Firefighters battled an outside fire that spread into the attic of a single-family home.

Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a structure fire around 1:14 a.m. on the 9700 block of North Beachy Avenue.

When units arrived at the location, they found an outside fire that extended into an attic of a single family house. A senior citizen was assessed by firefighter/paramedics and treated at the scene for back pain but declined transport to a hospital.

Power lines were seen exploding in the back of the house. Firefighters knocked down the fire in 15 minutes. No other injuries were reported.
