Los Angeles, CA: A shooting occurred that left one person wounded Thursday night, Aug. 18, at around 11:52 p.m. in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division officers responded along with Los Angeles Fire Department personnel to the 2200 block on Johnston Street where a male victim was located suffering from possibly more than one gunshot wound.

Bystanders were preforming CPR on the victim before first responders arrived. The victim was taken to a local area hospital in unknown condition.

No suspect information is available at this time.
