2 Patients Airlifted to Hospital After 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision

Gorman, Los Angeles County, CA: Two people were injured and airlifted to a hospital after a two-vehicle traffic collision on Highway 138 in Gorman near 300th Street West.

California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and Los Angeles County firefighters from Station 77 and 149 were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 16, 2022.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered two heavily damaged vehicles with one overturned. Los Angeles County Helicopter 22 responded to the scene and transported two patients with unknown injuries.

Traffic was stopped in both directions and officers on the scene advised drivers at 12:45 a.m. that they will reopen traffic in one to two hours. It is not known what caused the collision at this time.
