West Adams, Los Angeles, CA: Two people stabbed each other in a fight at approximately 11:41 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the historic South Los Angeles neighborhood of West Adams.

Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division officers responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West 28th Street. Upon arrival, officers located two persons, one female and one male suffering from stab wounds to the head and upper body.

One male victim/suspect was transported in serious condition to a local area hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department in police custody. Upon being released from the hospital, he will be taken to a local jail.

The female victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, but according to an LAPD sergeant off camera, she will not be taken into custody upon release from the hospital.
