The Los Angeles Fire Department was notified of the flooding around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, on the 2300 block of Cahuenga Boulevard in the Hollywood neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles. Upon arriving at the location, LAFD requested the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to respond for a broken water main.

Many cars were forced to turn around when confronted by the flooded roadway, while others were observed driving through the deeply flooded street before the two females were trapped.

This is not the first time this intersection has been flooded.
