2-Vehicle Traffic Collision Leaves Female Trapped in Sedan

LANCASTER, CA, Sept. 2 (KNN) — A female was extricated from a sedan by firefighters following a traffic collision involving two vehicles in a Lancaster intersection overnight.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of 15th Street East and Avenue J for a reported traffic collision at approximately 12:17 a.m. Saturday, with at least one person trapped.

Upon arrival, deputies located a female trapped inside a white four-door sedan with unknown injuries. As fire department personnel arrived, deputies advised them of the trapped person at which time they deployed tools to free her from the vehicle.

The female was transported to a local area hospital by ambulance. Her extent of injuries and condition were not immediately known.

The conditions of the other parties involved are not known at this time.
