Florence, Los Angeles, CA: A fire hydrant was sheared when two-vehicles collided sending one of the vehicles into the hydrant early Tuesday morning in the unincorporated community of Florence in South Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department received a call around 1:51 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, of a two-vehicle crash with person trapped on the 200 block of East Florence Avenue.
Upon arrival, LAFD reported a two-vehicle traffic collision with no one trapped, but water was shooting up into the air from a sheared fire hydrant at the location.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
