San Bernardino, CA: A large pallet yard fire in the city of San Bernardino quickly grew to 3rd alarm status as the fire spread to multiple buildings at the location.

San Bernardino County Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial fire around 5:12 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the intersection of Central and Lugo avenues.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a large pallet yard on fire exposing multiple commercial buildings. San Bernardino County FD upgraded the fire to a 3rd alarm status and quickly called for reinforcements. As of 8:30 p.m., SB County Fire remained on scene working on fire suppression and exposure protection.
SB County Fire reported 18 engines, 4 trucks and multiple overhead were committed to fighting the fire.
San Bernardino City Police officers were at the scene providing traffic support. SBPD reports of possible arson.
Around 10:00 p.m., SB County Fire reported knock down. A total of five buildings were damaged or destroyed, and a large amount of pallets were destroyed. Crews remained on the scene.
