Hawthorne, CA: A two-vehicle traffic collision resulted in three people trapped and four patients total transported to local area hospitals.

The collision that occurred at the intersection of West El Segundo Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue was reported just before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2022.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and was able to extricate the three trapped victims. Four patients total were taken to local area hospitals in varying conditions.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. Hawthorne Police Department was at the scene handling the investigation.

Gardena PD officers were also at the location assisting Hawthorne PD.
